“I CAN ASSURE YOU WE ARE SAFE” GHANA AMBASSADOR TO SOUTH AFRICA SAYS

H.E. George Ayisi-Boateng says Ghanaians in South Africa are safe as they have no reports that anyone is dead. The South African government together with the security forces have issued a letter of assurance to protect us and other foreign internationals. In an exclusive interview with a Ghanaian resident in Crompton park he said 8 bodies were lying dead confirmed by the police were not Ghanaians but 3 Zimbabweans, 1 Malawi 2 Nigerians and the other 2 were not confirmed. Last night 1 Ghanaian man was shot in the leg but fortunately he is alive. He added all our members in the association are alive only their unimaginable worth of properties have been destroyed in the xenophobic attacks. “It was only day time they attacked when it started but now they strike even at dawn and that is the most dangerous part because you may be asleep”.

But I can tell you the man reason why their economy is struggling is because he citizens especially the youth are not enterprising, resourceful and the sad part is their bad attitude towards work. Most of their companies are collapsing due to lack of labor so they employ the foreigners to do most of the works here and this pissed them saying even barbering, fitting and small handy works are done buy we the foreigners.

It is alleged that some statesmen are behind all that is going on and monitoring what goes on in other country so please my advice to you is not to attack any South African owned company or business if you want us to come home in one piece he added.
